James Schulgit, MD

Philosophy of Care

Our practice prides itself in top level cardiology with personalized service. Dr. Schulgit’s practice is physician owned and operated since 1990. We listen to our patients needs as well as employ state of the art testing to evaluate and diagnose patients.

Dr. Schulgit loves to greet patients personally and give individualized care. This includes active listening to the patients about their health care and symptoms. In addition to seeing patients in the office, Dr. Schulgit reads and diagnoses EKG’s and echocardiograms. He is in attendance at all stress tests that he orders and performs all necessary heart catheterizations.

Dr. Schulgit likes to work in collaboration with the patient’s primary doctor and other specialists. This coordinated care approach allows each doctor to focus on their own specialty while keeping the patients’ individual care needs in mind.

Although Dr. Schulgit owns his own business, he is affiliated with Aurora St. Luke’s and West Allis hospitals, as well as Ascension St. Francis hospital. He has one office, conveniently located inside one of the two physician office buildings at St. Luke’s Hospital.
